Man Scum have taken the unprecedented step of appealing for fans to attend tonight's Champions League qualifier against Hungarian club Debrecen at Old Trafford.For the first time in recent memory, United will throw open the turnstiles until kick-off in an effort to boost the attendance in a stadium whose 67,500 capacity has already been reduced by the decision not to open the top tier of Old Trafford's massive North Stand.
Three new Manshester Buchaneer fans who might see their first game at Old Trafford are the Glazer brothers Avi, Bryan and Joel, who are rumoured to be making the trip - to boost the attendance by at least three!
Perhaps they should have asked UEFA if they could have switched venues for the tie and played the game somewhere in the vacinity of Brighton.
